Wild Roots Animal Wellness was founded by Allegra Jacobs. Allegra is a holistic animal wellness professional who uses food as medicine to help pets struggling with common ailments. Allegra founded Wild Roots Animal Wellness when she was Inspired by her own dog's journey to health through dietary changes. Allegra is committed to supporting and educating pet parents on the best choices they can make to set their pets up for a happy and healthy life, and to address health issues as they arise, quickly and holistically. This starts with understanding how to feed your pet the very best foods so they can thrive. In this seminar Allegra will share easy, practical choices for loving “pet parents” of both cats and dogs. Attendees will leave with an understanding of the importance of reading pet food labels and making the very best choices for their pet’s health and happiness!
Allegra graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the Chicago School and a Master of Arts in Anthrozoology from the University of Exeter, a U.K. Russell Group School, known for its prestigious public research. She is an NAVC (North American Veterinary Community) pet nutrition coach and a certified raw pet food, commercial pet food, and canine herbalism specialist. Allegra has also studied under Dr. Ian Billinghurst and Dr. Nick Thompson of the Billinghurst Institute.
